this is a song i recorded some time ago.

it was inspired by a band a friend of mine was in called port elizabeth. they used to do these song with 2 guitars and drums that would just generally build up for ages then kinda explode into heaviness at the end.
and that what pero stands for (port elizabeth rip off), although its ot a direct rip off, and it wasnt copywrited anyway so i wouldnt matter.

i believe this song used a guitar, a bass tuned down to c and a slide guitar. all parts had lots of delay to get the textures nice and thick. it was recorded with a click track so if ayone fancies bashing out some drums to it id be more than happy to hear the results.

Quiet, but enjoyable

I like this - it's a calm little piece that really does connect with the listener, as the repeating guitar just gets louder to where it is actually audible. I'd consider making that so that it can get louder quicker, as otherwise you effectively waste the first 30 seconds of the piece, which is a shame.

The addition of the bass is nice, but not quite enough - percussion is a must for this piece, to take it further, as the occasional crash of cymbals and a steady bass drum beat would help, without getting too complex for the sound that you've produced.
