Well the first, 30 seconds were strange. The next entire minute was kinda boring and sounded strange. After that it seems like you added some creepy static, and then a lot of the sounds in the beginning that repeated so long were cut out. Almost relieving. Sounds like you added some church bells at the very end. I didn't like the high pitches towards the beginning of the song at all. Way too shrill, but the second half of the song really seems to capture the creepy mood. I mean, I'm typing in my room in the dark and I half expect to look over and see a dead body or something.
Overall it's a pretty creepy sounding track, I could see it being used it a scary flash game, but nothing I'd ever listen to in the car or ipod.
I can definitely see where you're coming from, this was way back before i had any real musical experience whatsoever so yea it's not exactly my best creation.
i appreciate the input though, so thanks anyway
Except for the static that follows the deep piano accents, this one is awesome ambient music!
You mean the growling effects? they were intentional as far as i remember... i use EQ automation to make the sound more versatile throughout the song... gives that dark "underground" sort of feel. i can see why some might not like it though...
Edit: nope, its a preset. still sounds better with growling i think.
