Electronic - Dubstep

Author Comments

Spent a few weeks on this one. The basses alone took hours X.x ah well, thats the fun part right?

Vocal samples are ripped from the movie "Life's Hot In Cracktown" for that ultra-ghetto feel that dubstep seems to crave.

Full project sequenced and built in Fl Studio 9 XXl, Basses (8 of em) all make using NI MASSIVE vst

Mastered with Maximus, and some multiband compressors.

I really like, but I feel like it needs more going on in the back.
Also, a good vsti to get is the Odaku Effect.

Hory shet

I love the Massive vst, and you're clearly very comfortable using it to its full potential. I had never thought about it before, but you're exactly right about the dubstep-ghetto relationship. They fit together like a...uh....two piece puzzle or something. 10/10 5/5

Sparxfox responds:

lol thanks a bunch for the review man :p

It's definately not the best dub out there, but I put alot of time and work into it. Nice to know that it wasnt in vain ^^

I don't generally listen to dubstep

But, hell if this ain't amazing.

Sparxfox responds:

Thanks for the review. It's always useful to get outsider opinions (outside of the underground music scene, that is) sometimes dub starts to deviate from what would normally be called "music" but is accepted anyways.

I always want to make sure my songs are dubby, yet still audible to those who dont know about dubstep :p
