I'm proud of this piece, specifically the mix and mastering quality. Granted the file size is large, the bit rating is low. The production quality seems to have mitigated the audio from becoming muddled and lousy sounding though.
For a long while the name "Building" was purely tentative, I had made a comment to a friend that my song was "building nicely", and I happened to save the file very shortly after that and decided to go with "Building". After finishing the piece and not coming up with anything else for a name I simply stuck with it.

Well not at all, not even slightly close but it made me think of it. I don't understand how you get so little view, your music is unique surely theirs more people looking for this kind of stuff. anyway good job keep it up all those compliments im supposed to waste my time typing and 10/10 5/5.
Thanks Monsieur bubbles. Kind of a weird connection you feel from this song. As far as NG goes, I actually do get a pretty good number of views, most of my songs are over 1,000 listens. I've been working on polishing up what I do, so the goal now is to make more fancy schmancy music.

I figured I'd stop by and check another song. I like the name as it wasn't misleading, but more than that I liked what it finally ended up at the end of the "building". Parts of it had a bgm-esque feeling to it but you brought it right back. All in all I can say I enjoyed it, so again, thank you for your hard work.
P.s. As for Shpongle I think they view the drug aspect in more of an entheogenic light more than just a "lets get messed" type of a thing.
I agree with your comment about their drug referencing being a spiritual tool, but regardless of artistic intent, the listeners will come up with any large number of interpretations, and it falls back on the easy rudimentary interpretation of being a gimmick.

Been listening to it for a while now (thanks for the higher quality version, the difference is enormous actually), and hoooooly shit. This is MASSIVE. So many effects and interesting elements, sooo detailed sound. Amazing atmosphere at times. It sounds experimental and innovative while still being pleasant. New favourite for sure!
And the ear candy! Oh the ear candy. Such a brilliant production. Really makes me appreciate my recent investment in high end headphones. Everything is punchy and sticks out, I admire how you managed to keep the sound so clear with all these different kicks and bass elements.
Some parts get too heavy and intrusive for me. But I can handle it :) Just curious, how long did this work take you?
This took about 4-5 weeks of on and off work. Most of the time whilst 'working' I was on MSN and other sites/games. If I had to guess actual total time spent on it, probably 40-50 hours. It felt very very quick in actuality, only had a week long pause entirely on it when I just wasn't feeling terribly musical.

This is a great song. Sorry to have been away for such a long time (i doubt you remember who i am). I actually went to China over the summer if you didn't know (actually no one knows). But this review is mostly about the song. I think the title "Building," really suits the song well. It "builds" itself along into an amazing song that blows away your competition. Also, could you go to the trouble to send me a high quality version of this song? I think it's one of your best.
