Choose a genre and stick with it.
I'll start this review off by saying that the first 21 seconds of this song were terrible. It really just doesn't sound metal. It gets better with your Pantera-like riff. It would have been very good, I'm sure of that, but the drums sounded wrong, in my opinion. Then something very odd happens at the 0:55 mark. You seem to switch from heavy metal to something very different. You go back to that annoying sound (is it supposed to be a guitar? Seriously, what is that?), and then, at 1:15, you go back to the actual heavy metal sound. Then something happens again at around 1:40, you guessed it! You changed back! This keeps repeating for the entirety of the song and just makes the overall song worse. It's also very repetitive and the lack of a solo just hardens the blow to the score. Get better, try harder, and put more effort in. I'm not trying to be discouraging, just offering some constructive criticism.
Remember: Effort breeds success and if you never give up you never lose. You are awesome. Go prove it.
I appreciate your opinion, but I like the song a lot. That sound at the beginning is a natural harmonic on the 5th fret of the 2nd and 3rd strings ran through a phaser of some sort. And the slower, less gainy parts are meant to ease the tension, then build it back up again. As for choosing a genre and sticking with it, no. I'm like a swiss army knife, and I have every intention of blending that into my music. I do work very hard at what I do, perhaps it's just not your style. Thank you though.
