Hmm

I dunno about this one. It's got that ominous feel necessary for a monster theme, but it feels like this song is pretty much 100% percussion. The whole time it felt like it was building up to something, and then nothing ever came. I was disappointed. If you put in a bassline at least, maybe a bass guitar riff, I dunno, just put something in there. Then maybe add a melody, using an instrument that kept the same feeling of the song, probably a simple melody, but that gives a feeling of dread, ya know? But that's just one option. Now, if you really want it to be mostly percussion, it is possible, I'm just not sure how you would go about doing it. I've had songs like that that totally blew me away, so it can be done. I can't think of any off the top of my head though, so I couldn't suggest anything to listen to. Of course, I haven't played the silent hill games, maybe that's where you got your inspiration from. So maybe that first suggestion would ruin the whole premise. I don't really know exactly where your coming from since I haven't played the game. I know what Pyramid Head is, but don't know anything else about it. :p

But if it is possible to add what I first suggested without taking away the silent hillish feeling, then maybe you could draw inspiration from some Metroid Prime boss music. Obviously you wouldn't use the same instruments, you'd use something less space sounding. Why Metroid Prime? They use a lot of percussion in the songs, and your song here honestly reminded me a little of MP boss music if it were just the percussion. Try maybe listening to the Parasite Queen theme? I think you'll get what I mean. It starts out with ominous percussion, then adds onto it, not taking away from the feel, but rather adding to it. Well, that's all I have to say on the subject. Hopefully this is helpful, despite my not having played silent hill. These are just my thoughts on the song, just throwing them out there for you.
