My name is Gareth Jones, producing Ambient/Experimental Electronica and Drum an Bass under the new updated name 'psychedra'. I've been producing music for at least 8 years, always as a hobby, however I have performed live on several occasions, using two laptops, sampling equipment and midi controllers, I AM NOT A DJ :D ...I had a go on a lovely set of technics when I was studying Music Technology in college, I was crap.. lol

Just to mention my production resources, I use Fruity Loops 9, Adobe Audition, Sonar 8 and Reaktor 5.

I love music, I always have. I come from quite a prominent 'Metal' background, just quickly to mention 'Meshuggah, Tool, Dream Theatre', but fell in love with Aphex Twin, Squarepusher introducing me to 'Headfuck' music, in particular fast-pace glitchy Drum and Bass, I also discovered the genius of 'Brian Eno quite late, he has had a massive influence of my music...

There are so many unexplainable feelings and emotions to be experienced from the infinitely complex variations of sound, open your mind to the endless possibilities of music.

Creative, to say the least.

I am also a composer of Ambient/Electronic music. I am studying music therapy and am always inspired by artists with the same point of view on music as mine. Your music is very cool and you have creative ideas and nice sequences. If I were you I would work on transitions and equalizers of your peice. Things tend to happen 'all of the sudden', I have the exact same problem. The easiest way to introduce a new idea or sequence is starting it at a low volume and let it grow, or to have it filtered before having it clean. Its all about transition, my friend.
