Story of a Soldier:

As the grains of sand flew past my face I remembered home; the soft lush green grass of the pastures, the scent and beauty of the dew covered roses, my wife's face smiling down on me from one perfect night months ago. As I remembered I fought harder.. Using everything I love too return to that place called 'home'. Suddenly I felt a large thud next too me. I had triggered a anti-tank mine. As pieces of my body flew off around me I expected uncontrollable pain. Instead my life flashed before my eyes, remembering everything I loved so. As tears ran down my face I thought "Goodbye harsh world, please be kind too my wife and unborn child" those were my last thoughts.
