~140 bpm is simply unacceptable for generic "techno" or any subset of house. Nobody is asking that you make a super fast high energy terrorcore or even a 450bpm DnB song. Good "medium pace" songs of most genres are 300-350 BPM, and house is not something you slow dance to. I may be sounding a little like the producer at the end of Deadmau5's "Ghosts N' Stuff", Which is an example of a similar concept you seem to have been working with executed well. Decide which subset of techno you look to be in. Generally, unless the genre's audience is mainly hipsters, People will be less harsh the more specific your type of music is. Google "Open source music" and you'll find both good samples to base incorporate into a song or a catchy tune to base a song off of. One easy exercise in House DJing is to go to an emulator website, download a random NES/SNES rom, and try to make a remix of the title tune. It will help you make your future songs not suck as badly as this one did.

P.S: I would normally give this a 2, but you get three bonus stars for it only being your first attempt.
