no that's how YOU do it (no pun needed)
I did a trance remix of the original by scott brown, but I thought I would take it back to its roots with a hardcore version. Faster, better, ect... The trance remix took me around a week, but I worked from that one for this remix so it only took me around 2 days. I worked pretty hard on it so tell me what you think!!!
Enjoy, rate and review!!!

A few things.
The bass is to overpowering It even sounds distorted to me. a good way to see if something is clipping is play the song without the bass or the kick and then randomly turn it on and see if it seems like anythings volume gets lower. also add a DBmeter to a channel and see if it goes into the red.
I think the song has potential its just the quality that is off. also maybe a bit more variation to the melody would go a long way the build ups almost seem to long and repetitive.
The kick is good and powerful but You can't feel its full power because of the loudness of the bass.
The song does gets repetitive maybe add a break with a different melody would probably go a long way.
Transitions are a little slack maybe work on making them more creative rather then just a filter cutoff. filter is now a bad way to build up as long as its not the only element.
Over all not a bad song Needs work tho and more variation.
I was gonna give you a 4 but I gave you a 5 cause I hate bringing peoples score down.
7/10 Overpowering Bass, Lack of variation, weak transitions.
That's my take on this!
Have A Great Day!

Hey Blizzaine! Nice remix you got here, the sound is great. It's nice to see some people on Newgrounds still take time on their music.
Anyway, good job ^_^

So i herd u liek mudkipz.
Meh, good song, loved the effect on it, but the lead synth, and i know what it is, but its so hard to remember, needs to transition to a different note more smoothly.
Other than that, all you mudkipz belong to me :/
:o!
Very nice! This is a nice change from your other recent work. I love the kick here, it is just very..good? :D. Transitions were fluid and simple.
The snare didn't drown out the kick, which was a good thing because the kick kept the song going and gave the mood.
The hats had a nice fast paced rhythm to them at one point and it sounded very good with the kick and snare.
The lead you used was sweet. The melody fit in with the lead perfectly.
Was a nice piece by you again :) Good luck.
One thing though, I think it got a bit repetitive for 5:15.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
