Baaaaaack!! Been AWOL for a second. Actually took a break from beatmaking and remixing, so I could focus on my own recording career in the process. Also I need to work on my mastering skills much, but hopefully I'm steadily improving in this aspect.

In any case, I love Yuzo Koshiro. Everything from ActRaiser, Streets of Rage, and his contributions to Brawl (the Norfair and Zelda remixes, in case you were wondering). So of course, I hadta do it up for one of his classics. It's not perfect, but lemme know what you guys think. And positive or negative, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is appreciated. And I got the Level 1 theme from the first SOR next on my radar btw :)

I like this one, I wanted to love it, but I like it.
Why? From 2:21 onwards, the drums sound just like the rythm any Reggaeton song has, and that spoils the entire track. Anyway, good work on this one, Yuzo Koshiro is truly an artist :)

So yeah

I actually favorited this YESTERDAY but listened today to give a clear review.

The drums are REALLY clear and crisp, giving it that motivating, almost r+b feel to it, or something I really can't describe. The drums are funky!

The synth is really smooth but crisp as well, and it's clear. I really like what you did to this song, it is amazing!

Great work!

Great job!
Synths are clear and melodic.
I like the cute drums, but they still give a clear beat to it.

Cam3leon responds:

Lol yeah I was going for a slick synth-y approach with the vintage drums. The next arrangement I do is gonna come a little harder though, given the original melody :)
