Well guys, this is my first submission to Newgrounds. I hope to be able to give you guys music that you will enjoy, as I put alot of work and effort into it, so I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did making it.

That being said, Summer's Dawn is a tune about a very good friend of mine, a girl named Summer, who basically kept my sanity intact after I fell head over heels for another girl who just pushed me away in a romantic sense. One day, Summer was very upset over an event that occurred to her, and it hit me in a way as well, so I started work on Summer's Dawn.

What you hear now is a shortened version with no chorus or piano solo. I plan to submit those at a later date.

Enjoy. =)

Has potential

Lovely feel-good riff and I like the choice of instruments.

My advice would be to introduce other instruments quicker. The snare is really clean hitting, nice and gives off a perfect rhythm. I would use other effects to stop the song feeling like a loop playing the same thing over and over, such as strings, guitars or little weaved effects that blend the song up well and make it feel much more varied.

Overall, you have a nice shell here, keep building on the song because it could be quite epic with more work put into it.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it, I had wanted to add violins and other string instruments to the mix like you said, and that's actually already done, I'm working on finishing the song actually. So expect a full finish by the end of the month.
