Woot! First one to review! Giddy-UP!
Anycrap, I have to say this is a great tune to listen to. Perhaps I'm in the right mood or the right state of mind for listening to something like this but I am really getting down to everything about it.
I think one of the strongest aspects of this piece is the soft melodies and easy guitar riffs mixed in with the much heavier in your face chorus that comes along throughout the composition. The guitar solos were not only a nice touch but something I also think added a great deal more depth to the song. I definitely like bands that mix single string picking with chords. It is something that you don't hear a lot of in todays metal... let me rephrase that. You don't hear a lot of GOOD single string picking mixed in with chords in todays metal.
But I digres, excellent job on the song. I am not entirely sure if I get the idea that this is a song about remembering good times and friends though. Either way it still kicks ass. I'll be sure to check out the rest of your stuff as well.
