I have looked back on this remix and changed a few instruments and some other stuff, as my other remix was pure crap. This is still crap, but better than the last one ^^. I have put A LOT of effort into finding the melody for the pad in the middle, and I still haven't got it right, but I have no more time :(. If you ever happen to find the melody for the pad, PM me with a link and I'll try to make another remix of this amazing piece.

Listen to more house

This had a lot of trance elements, but even those weren't very strong.

It took a very long time for the kick to drop in.

Also, you heavily sidechained the crowd noise with the kick. That just sounds awful. As a matter of fact, you sidechained everything a lot. This mix is simply way too loud. You need to bring the volume down on almost everything, and avoid using limiter tools on the master channel.

DjAbbic responds:

Heh, to be honest, I know for a fact that this isn't house. It's just that the trance section is full of noobs who want dance music/all-happy music and vote 0 if they don't get that. The sidechained crowd noise, I thought it sounded cool :P. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, and all the sidechaining is because it was too loud, but too soft with sidechaining, so I made the mix a bit louder than normal. Thanks for the honest and constructive review.
