I don't know about you, but I absolutely love this song. Initially I was going to do a string quartet version of this song, and got all the notes laid out. But when I played them together on a guitar (provided by Spectrasonic's Omnisphere) I got a really nice feeling, that this is where the song belonged. I was reminded of playing the guitar on a beach by firelight, until 4 in the morning. That is a really awesome thing to do, and I wanted to share that experience with you.

So sit back, and enjoy the smell of the salty air. Feel the warmth of the fire, and the sand under your feet.

P.S. Hit me up if you're going to attend Virginia Commonwealth University this fall (2010), I'd like to meet ya!

I seriously listened to this four or five times in a row. I love it. I would so make a vocal cover of this version of the song if I wasn't so shy, LOL.

5/5, 10/10! :D

All I can say is wow.

In truth I expected something heavier and less melodious. I have to tell you man, this here is amazing. I listened to this in the night and because of the pure ambience and serenity this song blessed my ears with, I had to turn off the lights, close my eyes and lay my head back. The imagery that came to mind was of the night sky, only, not airplanes. But just stars. Floating by, moving inexplicably and amazingly. Long story short, great song, great ambient feeling and great job. You deserve every star you get and more.

Love it!

I enjoy listening to it...I like how peaceful and soothing this song is, and yes just like how you stated: playing a guitar on a beach by a fire place, it really brings out that kind of feeling! =D Good work!

Thank you sir! The biggest thing for this song is the fact that the beach/fire and ambiance are recorded in stereo, and there is no reverb (other than the acoustics of the guitar itself). All that combined really puts the listener right there in the space.
