okay. this is what I have accomplished thus far. what I intend to do is turn up the piano after the intro and turn down the main bass riff and drum beat. I also plan on adding a guitar in the 2nd verse and I'm going to try to add more violins throughout the song...

If you can think of anything else I can change or disagree with one of the above stated changes I'm going to make, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! tell me what you think so far

ENJOY!

Walking Through the Ocean

Really like the music. The only thing that bothers me is the drumkit/samples, esp the hat on the 2 and 4, which is a driving the song forward. Some variation there would be nice. Maybe using some rimshot instead of claps at the start / would be nice / beat at 01:32 is great, very 80's sounding vibe there.
All in all good effort, just the drums section needs something imo.

FenixB-dogg responds:

couldn't agree with you more, I will always be the first to admit that I SUCK at making a drum beat, but I tried the best I could, I'll try use the advice you gave me and we'll see where the song goes from there

nice.

I think the intro is to long, but at 1:05 I really like the piano. Also there could be some more pads in it and it's a bit repetive...

But all in all I have to say pretty cool^^

FenixB-dogg responds:

thanx, I'll take the pads into consideration. I was trying to figure out a way to reduce the repetitiveness, I intend to attempt to fix that when I add the other instruments. I could shorten the intro but I personally thought it sounded nice which is why I left it the way it was, but I will also take that into consideration.
