Never played Sonic 3

Can't really tell if this is a good remix or not, so I'll have to do it as an individual piece.

What annoys me the most is the bass. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it doesn't really seem to be connected to the song, like it's just rolling of on its own. The sound it makes just doesn't fit too good. See if you can find some other bass sounds for it.

The drums used after about the halfway mark sound like some Cuban drums. Not a bad thing, sounds interesting enough.

It has a sort of dreamy feel to it, as all the sounds are rather soft, if you understand what I mean. I'm not sure this fits with the original song or not, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Fix the bassline and in general, get a better flow to the song. At times it seems like it's rushed, to keep up with the pace.

I've never heard the actual song, so I can't comment too much on the melody. What I did notice was that it reminded me of the type of jazz they play in 50s movies combined with cuban music. At times the bass was disjointed from the melody.

The bass sounded a little low or maybe just not the right bass for it. It lost tonality because of how low it was and because of how low the quality is. There was a short pause at around 0:17 that I think you should fix. I like how this sounds in general and if you fixed the minor details it would be much better.

Nice job

This was a nice mellow little remix you did of the Data Select theme from Sonic 3,i liked the sound effects you used i just thought the quality needed to be a little bit better but other than that it sounded real good,keep up the good work. =)

Really cool

For a second it sounded like a spanish ballad, but this data select theme from sonic 3 is pretty sweet, and you did a fine helluva remix by making it so nice and slower, nice work homey.
