When I was a little kid there was a coach at my elementary school that was, how do I say this, really inappropriate with kids. Looking back on it I am not sure if he was a pedo or just super creepy, but he would do things like drop coins down girls shirts and retrieve them, or snap their training bras. Just super creepy messed up stuff.
When I was in first grade my mother had a parent-teacher conference with my teacher (not the coach). She brought me along to the school but I wasn't supposed to be present at the meeting so I was free to wander around. I did, and somehow ended up in creepy coach's office. After the meeting with my teacher my mom went looking for me and found me coming out of his office with a big red weal on my cheek, and candy in my pocket. I am told that instead of doing sexual stuff with boys he would instead see how much pain they could endure without crying and reward them with candy. I think he just pinched me really hard; he didn't break any skin or anything.
Anyway after hearing this, she basically spearheaded this guy getting fired form the school district and got him blacklisted. I don't know if he got jail time but she totally ruined his career. I realize this doesn't seem like a huge thing in comparison to other "badass" mother posts, but it means a lot to know how protected I was.
Edit: I found the transcript of his appeal to the school board - My incident isn't listed on here as an official claim, and it looks like he was doing this stuff for a long time. But, my mother was very activley involved in his removal.
