Dinner on the Spaceship

It all started with that that I've played around with really ridiculous effects in Guitar Rig 4 (I've reinstalled it on my new computer). LFO, Filters, Fuzz. The whole effects are described in the Tech Info segment.

Anyway, while I play around with it, I come up with a chord progression. And the rest is history :) Everything that was played on guitar - The chord progression, the solo - is improvised.

Hope you enjoy it, please review so I can develop this track!

Technical information
Equipment -
- Gibson Les Paul BFG (FUCKIN INCREDIBLE)
- BehrINGer mixer and soundcard
- My new computer

Programs -
- Guitar Rig 4
- Fruity Loops Studio 9
- Soundforge
- Audacity

Rhythm guitar effect - Big Fuzz, splits into L/R. Both L and R has a random LFO signal which controls a Pro-Filter (The tone and resonance are tuned so that it sounds like various versions of radio/white noise). There are 2 analog step sequencers which control L/R volume. That creates L/R Switching Signals. Then it all goes through a Spring Reverb.

dig

Smoove.

Very interesting

Not sure what to say about it. I definitely like it. Some of the effects aren't what i usually dig but, overall pretty good.

thecoreman responds:

Thanks for the review, man. And I know that the effects make it ridiculous, but that's the point. It's unique.

Thanks a lot for the review!

dude

Chill down with the crazy panning shit! Or make a version without it, it just becomes an annoying gimmick after a while. Cause the song would be so lovely as a straight jazzblues kinda song.

thecoreman responds:

Lol, I have a straight Jazz (jazz/funk really, but WTH) track - "Jazz with a 'Fro". I wanted this track to be unique because of the effects.

Thanks anyways for the review :D

PERVALICIOUS!

just about when u thought there was no one left, actually "playing"
n "producing" music you stumble upon such beautiful work.

hope dies last - great proof to that!
amazing work. added to faves immediately!

thecoreman responds:

Wow, thanks a lot mate :) Epic review.

Just remember, people who make electronic music make music as well :P
