The Korg Series
Year: 2002
Soundtrack: Neo Krysta Reborn
Song Title: "Sync City"

Remember when I once said that I don't like recording myself playing in realtime? This piece is why.

This was intended for a futuristic city in Neo Krysta Reborn. Because I was trying to be syncopated, things ended up very hairy on the tempo-maintaining.

This is the last piece to the Neo Krysta Reborn soundtrack. The Korg Series will pick up with the next soundtrack, done in 2003, for a project I called "Zero".

All was recorded in realtime using a Korg Triton MIDI sequencer. No loops or arpeggiators were used in the making. Keep in mind that these pieces are old, and represent my earlier days of composing.

Whoa, really?

You seriously recorded this in real time with no looping or anything?
Well even if NKR never launched, this sure does sound like you put a lot of time and sweat into it.
It honestly does sound like loops... But this is all manual? Geezus. One off-beat sound and it needed to be re-recorded? Dayumn.
