Here's a song I've been working on for a few days. Quite a bit of effort was put into making it nice, so I hope it is well received. The volume is a bit low, but I don't feel like fixing it.

Fun Fact: Near the completion of this song, all of the VSTs (including effects) disappeared for no reason. I had to re-mix everything and twist a bunch of knobs to get back to the sound I originally had...not a fun process.

Hi i'm just letting you know that i appreciate this track to the highest degree. I burned this to Cd last year and it helped me get through the shitty winter and took massive stress off of me during the day. Keep up your hard work, it will never go unrecognized as long as i'm here. No one knows how to make music like this, it's a shame.

Good Mix

Its a good song but it seems lacking something until about 3:30. I like the bell-sounds in the background that come in at around 3:50... They add a good counter melody.

it feels.. lacking.. and takes too long to build up.. you're also ignoring the back end of the spectrum where things like strings could be filling it up - among other things.. also - it's rather repetetive - you need to change up the melody.. a lot.. this is just bg filler imo atm - your use of layering is a good start - and that bell in the bg is a good idea.

Also your percussion could be more powerful - you really need an OMPH with this kind of music.

keep on improving my friend!

Doesn't sound much like a fun fact to me haha

I know how that feels though, since my comp had to get replaced, and I wasn't allowed to keep any of my old song T_T, but anyway, good song.

check out my newest song sand caves if you have time.

Pretty dope man

I really like the gong sounding parts.

Thomas responds:

I don't know what the gong sounding parts are, but thanks for the review.
