Electronic - Drum N Bass

Ok... here's the thing... I'm almost finished cleaning up my last 10 years' closet, and since I started uploading from the most recent backwards (in true prequel movies style) it would be appropriate to start wrapping things up by posting some of the stuff I made back in 2000 in Impulse Tracker (best tracker ever btw).

I remember I was deeply exploring true british drum and bass at the time. Heavy influences were the likes of Photek (nr.1), Goldie & Adam F.

You'll notice in this particular piece that the emphasis is completely on the drum. All additional samples, backdrops and leads are only functioning as background, so if it seems repetitive, it's only because it is. It's the subtleties in the groove that make this composition come to life + heavy experimentation on different stereo implementation, massive in-tracker beat-slicing and suble'n'deep bass usage.

You'll also notice the difference in the overall sounscape from the one presented in my other songs made in Reason. Trackers truly had (and still have) that something something precious in the way they groove.

So here I give you, for your listening pleasure, a drum'n'bass blender that goes around by the name of 'Chrome 762'. Enjoy :D

Very Nice!

Cool intro and the panning of the background noise was the perfect catalyst for the songs... unique... feel. This reminds a lot of Cloud2Ground' songs.

I really liked this; Keep em coming!

Really great intro

definitely hear the metalheadz photek influence.

I think the track could've worked better if it wasn't panned so much. A more mono overall sound coulda made the track have more of a centered feel.

Good job still. it's an excellent effort.
