This song was written for my dearest mother, knowing the style would be right up her alley.

The song blends elements of funk and jazz to bring up a smooth, flowing burst of fun. The song was recorded using a sampled Cymbal crash, Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Trilogy, and Stylus, and a tenor saxophone soundfont. The lead lines were all recorded improvisationally with a Roland PC-200 midi keyboard into Omnisphere and cleaned up in the piano roll, before being fully assembled in FL Studio 9.

This song took about three hours from conception to rendering.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed creating.

Nice jazz

Nice song. I decided this would make a decent casino theme for my game- I like the laid-back jazzy feel of it. I also think- and this is probably just me- that the song hides a bit of a seedy place feeling in it- the casino in question is in the slummy part of the town, but it wasn't really intentional, it was just how it ended up.

great song man!

I love this. It's so relaxing!

Thank you =)

I usually dont listen to funk but this was some good stuff. I could tap my foot to this. Maybe you should make some more songs like this. I would love to hear them

Hyper-Freak92 responds:

Thanks, bro. I enjoyed writing this. Stylus is a great tool for creating song-driving grooves.
