Author Comments

Actually i don't think that this truly qualifies as Techno - but I've given up trying to classify my music.

As usual, comments appreciated and very much desired, as I cannot improve the work without criticism!

No story - I'l add it later.

Thanks for having a listen,

I know you voted one. It was the first vote that this track received. I just wanted to take the time to THANK YOU for writing such a beautifully rendered critique on why you hate my music so much. It really means a lot when people who vote so low take the time to actually write a little bit to explain why they don't like it and what I've done wrong with the track, especially after I have asked for a bit of criticism, it really shows that you aren't a complete self-centered jerk! It's wonderful to see when someone actually takes the time to share their thoughts.

So - THANKS, THANKS SO MUCH for sharing your thoughts with me! I will use them to further improve my works and hopefully create something which even you, the caring, thoughtful individual that you are, will one day appreciate!

Bass & describing.

Music is hard to describe.

The bass is omnipresent and ever repeating except for some select moments.
Unfortunatly, this creates a really bad beat. However at the end of the song the bass stops and there is a less simple beat.
I like how the bass 'kicks in' at the beginning, but this is all I have to say since there is little to no variation except for @ 00:42.

The lead is hard to hear because of the loudness of the bass.
There are also only two 'sounds' (or layers, idk what to call), that form the first (and second?) lead.
The echo like thing on the background is nice, but the other two are also little variation.
Unfortunately, this makes the song sound a bit bland and lacking depth.

If you would chop this song into a piece of about 1 minute that loops nice, then you will have a nice menu song.

I gave you a 4/10 because this is not your first song, and it could be worse.
I hope this review was helpful, because it is hard to describe music and to be honest: I didn't like the song. (I did, however loop the song for the duration that I wrote this review).

You requested on your user page to have reviews on your music submissions, so you got one!

eehh if you were going for a video game's main menu you'd have nailed it right on the head as for listening to this because you really want to don't see it happening for me.IMO so i will grade this as a video game title song/main menu song. as one of those songs yes this is fantastic but nothing .to slow for my taste.IMO now im off to listen to more of your music.

Viros responds:

Thank you for your honest opinion.

I'm going to change the genre - I believe you are correct - it is rather video gamey (and honestly, that's kinda what I envisioned it as while i was writing it - but I always tend to reserve "video game" as remixes and the sort - my shortsight).

Thank you for the score - and i think it will be more fitting to the track after it's been put into the proper category.

Thanks again!
