Note: This song was difficult to place in a genre, due to it drawing influences from both techno and funk. The best we could come up with was "primarily techno, with a funk feel," an attribution supplied by a reviewer.

I'd like to start by saying that the creators of this song (myself and a friend) are music writers only as a hobby.

This is a little synthesizer experiment that we originally wrote by combining several disjoint rhythm ideas and somehow throwing them together into something that sounded coherent.

Like I said, we do this as a hobby only, but we're both jazz lovers, so we like how this turned out. Hope you do too.

I think it's interesting that this ended up in the Techno genre. I mean, yes, it uses techno synths and leads, but I definitely feel this is a FUNK PIECE. I do appreciate the work that was put into this, even though it's not my cup of tea.

We're still debating on it. So far we have one vote for techno and one vote for funk from the community. Hopefully we'll get a better idea where we should place this song as we get more feedback.

Thank you for the feedback!

not really funk

It's more techno with a funk feel. I suppose the fact that it was in the Funk section i was expecting real instruments.
It's still ok but...yeah.

bamzilla responds:

Noted. I'll discuss it with the other author.

I really like the beat of this piece. It'd be perfect for a podcast my friends and I are planning to do. Would you mind if we used it?
