Please listen to this song for at least 40 seconds before rating it. It's a psytrance song- the very beginning is drastically different from the rest of the song and by no means should you judge the entire song based off the intro. Trust me, the whole thing isn't noise.

If you haven't heard much psytrance before, I would recommend you listen to some as soon as possible! It's way better than other (read: Euro) trance and in my opinion is the only standing bastion of quality trance music. Infected Mushroom is a good place to start.

The track's a little long, so I had to upload in 192k to keep it under the limit.
If that upsets you (because you're some kind of audiophile) you can get links to my music in lossless (.FLAC, .AIC) formats by going to my profile page and clicking on my website.

Anyhow, this is heavily, heavily inspired by Infected Mushroom. If you listen to Yanko Pitch, (an IM track) you'll see that I took a lot of composition ideas from that and made them my own. The whoooosh you hear near the start was, admittedly, not much more than my half-hearted attempt at imitating the intro to that song.

Pretty much everything in this song I made myself- no lazy Nexus usage, no presets in any synthesizers at all, everything was made by me. (If you happened to be named Trancecrafter, I'll have you know that I didn't end up using your sweep preset.) The only synthesizer I used in this is one called Sylenth1 - it was my first time working with it to this extent, and I have to say, I was blown away by its versatility and ease of use. Not to sound like an advertisement, but I'd recommend it over Nexus, Vanguard, Predator, Sytrus, or even Z3ta+ if you're a beginner.

In conclusion, I hope that this description has kept you occupied long enough to give this track a chance and not write it off as headache-inducing wind sounds.

If you happen to be a psytrance enthusiast, I hope you don't resent me for trying to be Infected Mushroom when I'm clearly not- just try to enjoy the music.

Thanks!

Sick

awesome trance song

Builds up gradually and reminds me of some serious oldschool arcade gaming when it gets into it. Very well produced!

hmhmhmhh

dadadadadadaa good rythm great job ;,,;

Sweet

this is pretty good, The first part of the intro was lil to epic to come in soft but it worked, drums were different like the beat, good synth layering it just keep on building up and buliding up and then break good job. over all the song is good respect from a fellow Trance artist (check out my music tell me what you think.)

I'm glad you could appreciate the groove! There's a lot I wish I could have added to this track, but unfortunately I lack the equipment, time, and experience necessary. If you like it, go ahead and download, or tell some friends who also like psytrance!
