What a coincidence!

I'm working on an arrangement of this for a small ensemble of mine. I'm no Zelda fan, so I knew this song only as "Gerudo Valley", but anyways I like this arrangement a lot. The main detriment to me though is that it's not as fast as I think this song should be. I imagine it being a bit more lively, more "spring" like.

JulezJLB responds:

Definitely. What I may do is add in the new melodic/theme stuff I had originally and up the tempo a bit.

Gerudo Valley is my favorite out of the entire game. I've heard a few string arrangements....but I may do a full orchestra version. Would be a good exercise.

Julez, you have the makings of a GREAT orchestrator! Why are you not making money??

You've blown my mind in songs before, but this... this blows my entire body away. I actually FEEL like I'm IN the game, not just listening to the music!

Bravo Julez!
5/5 9/10(9/10 simply because... i want to hear better!) lol

JulezJLB responds:

Thanks man. Gotta credit the music for the atmosphere though. Just glad I could maintain the feeling with the orchestration.

Have a purely original piece coming soon. Gotta work out a few things first though. Hopefully in a few days.

This is very nice indeed. VST or live recording? If it's a VST, please let me know what you used!

JulezJLB responds:

Glad you liked it. Used VST. Would love to get my hands on some people for a live recording lol.

Orgasm in my ears...yeah

That just about explains it. I LOVE those instruments. They blend together so well. Where did you find those? They're amazing. Nice work btw. I remeber this a long time ago.

JulezJLB responds:

I wanted to add some new themes to it but decided to see how something closer to the original went over first. Glad you liked it. OoT had such great music even though it was pure midi.

If people like the orchestration, I'd love to orchestrate some more from the game. Hyrule Field would be amazing, Gerudo Valley...
