Lately I've been producing a lot of progressive trance tracks.
I never was into them, but I tried it out since I was bored on the other genres.

Other tracks soon coming your way!

Reviews + vote's would be appreciated!

Very simple and not very many melodies in this one. I like the melodic rhythm even if its not entirely your genera per say. I will note that I sorta thought back to Beach Dreams with this one. But the notes being slightly muffled took me to an image of actually being under water with this one. Taking a simple underwater dip at the ocean and spending an unusually long time(like in a lot of cartoons) down there looking around. I wont forget the addition of bubbles coming from the rock bed, that is added simply because of the title of your song. They would be a main attraction of my underwater trip because of how they reflect the mid-afternoon sunlight.

Voted a 5 because it was a beautifully simple peace of work. Integrate some of it's aspects into future work and there will be that beautiful simplicity mixed in and make it a personal footprint of your music.

Your other track that I finished reviewing is quite different then this one.

Funny enough, I found that this one has tooo much bass. It seems that your kick has a fair bit of subbass and that it's conflicting a bit with your bass lead at points where they overlap. A good way to prevent this is to either stick a steep low cut EQ on your kick, or side chain your bass to your kick a bit.

This track's overall EQ is a bit wack to be honest. There's a LOT of highs going on, and not much mids. I don't know what to think of it. I just know that there's a fair bit of resonance on your lead.

The FX remind me of some of the old stuff Tiesto mixed on his early Magik albums.

If you ever need some insight, feel free to PM me for my MSN.

Keep at it :]

unrealdark responds:

That might be since this is my 3rd demo I finished out of my flps in the genre progressive trance. This was the best at the time to pick.

I'll be sure to keep the mixing in mind, I guess I need some training.
But I'll have to say, that I didn't worked 100% on my mixing in this track.

Yeah thanks but I got you already on msn bro. :P
We only hardly talk, since when I am online it's working time for you I believe.

Other than that, Thanks for the informative review!
I'll work on my mixing.

unrealdark responds:

I'll try to make my tracks more interesting to hear and longer. Though it's kind of hard, it'll get repetive easylie. Thanks for the input! I'll keep it in mind!

watch out when your doing a double or triple kick combo :)
sometimes it can distord the bass or even fade both of them.
Nice as always, smooth and peacefull :)

5/5 - 9/10

unrealdark responds:

I know, but it wasn't that distorted. When I did I tried to use as less sounds I could. So the fading outs aren't hearable. Clippers and volume envlopes for the win! :)
Thanks for the review! It's appreciated!
