Well here it is! This is our last song, the last that figures on our EP.
Hope you liked it so far, this song still is one of our favorite. The singer at the end is a friend of us, he's the bassist of From Dying Skies, another French band (check them out at www.myspace.com/ fromdyingskies, remove the space). Why is this categorized as "Heavy metal"? Newgrounds should make a totally kick ass awesome death metal category, just like your music. Nice vocal variety, pounding drums, impressive guitar work and heavy bass. why have'nt i heard about you guys before?

Ahahah I don't know if it's death metal ^^ I'd rather call it "metalcore", as we were mainly influenced by metalcore bands back then.
I guess NG could just create a "general metal" category, or else it would become too bothersome to have to choose between "death metal", "black metal", "hardcore metal", "progressive metal", "scandinavian metal", "obscure grindcore brootal dark metal" etc.

I have a request...
I am going to be honest ... I usually hate heavy metal with voice (or screams) as in this case. Don't take me wrong, but screaming and roaring at a microphone really isn't the nest way to pass your message (I can't understand a word of what you actually sing [or scream]). I must say however that the parts of the chorus and the parts where the singer actually sings are very nice to the hear - and I can actually understand what he is saying (lol). Nonetheless the instrumental is definitely awesome. I must say, it's because of guitarists like the ones you have playing that I am trying to learn how to play guitar.
I hope my comments don't offend you. That is not the intention. Still, the screaming kinda fits the ambient nicely. And the sound quality is also a bonus.

Don't worry there's nothing to be offended about here, in fact that's one of the main problem with metal, as you can't realy understand what the "singer" is screaming, and the harshness of the vocals often make people unused to this style of music wondering what they're actually listening to lol.
I'm not the singer in this band, just one of the guitarists, so thank you ahahah!
Still, when I scream and/or sing, I always try to have a good pronunciation, so the "we can't even understand what you're saying" thing can't be applied. It's hard but you always can do it.
And screaming isn't as simple as you can often think it is, in fact it is easier for a screamer to sing when then the contrary.
