Hello my fellow NG-ers. I have tried to make it better then the other one but its still way to over-compressed :P not much more the say cept enjoy (still a demo)

really nice layering

would agree with the others below that certain elements could be eq'd a bit sharper but I'm prone to leaving things gritty myself sometimes. all in all a very nice sound here, I used to love listening to this song at guvernment parties so maybe I'm biased. :D

really great progression though, I like how you drop around a minute in though the way you filter your hats in seem a little harsh on the ears, try playing with the res a bit more. :)

Crakle responds:

Thanks Durn i really appreciate it!! i will definitely take your advice and other users advice when i get back to this song! Ill try to improve my hi hats lol but thanks again!

Pretty good.

I'll get right into the constructive criticism.
Levels and mixing need a lot of work, as well as EQing and such. Certain parts sound overly muddy, such as some parts where the pads overpower. Filter sweep on the drums in the buildup does not sound very good (specifically the clap/snare), maybe something more original would work better.

Crakle responds:

Thanks ill keep that in mind when i work back on this

Yeah, this is much better, you can actually hear the different sounds now :D

You're doing pretty well, for being kinnda inexperienced and 13. Seems like you got the talent, well you know how to mix sounds to create a bigger picture. That's good, it sounds full, it's a bit too leaned over to the treble side, later on it just overpowers the bass and kick, ain't too big a flaw yet i guess.

The melody and the whole treble area is great, the mid and lower areas need a bit attention, the bassline isn't very fitting, nothing to worry, you'll get the finesse for that.

Anyway, keep on making music and playing around, that's the easiest way to learn and improve. Shouldn't take too long for you to make a great track.

See you around or somethin.

Crakle responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Much apriciated ;) I'll try to work on it a bit more but thanks for the review and the 5/5!!
