How wonderfully quirky.
I love it! I can almost imagine a group of men walking around having a laugh, and then at 0:46 just suddenly getting their swords out ready to charge or some such thing.
The start is nice and unforebodingly merry, the end makes you feel sorry for whoever they're invading. And they two somehow work together. I love the changeover, how you hear the undercurrent of brass with the jig, just so you get that hint that something new and more menacing is going to take place before the brass takes over completely. I almost wish this was longer, but I guess you can't have too much of a good thing. This was cool.
Well, I've expanded the jig to a full on piece. But that's more of a drinking song. I might go back and do some more work. I'm always up for making more music!
Awesome job. The piece is amazing. Sounds like an irish jig at first but melds in almost seamlessly into war music. Sweet.
Thanks alot flare-dragon. I'm glad you liked it.
are you a fan of Suikoden?
it sounds like it could have been influenced from the first 2 Suikodens.
I have not played Suikoden. Thanks for the review!!!
