The eternal lasting work of Edvard Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" from the Peer Gynt suite in techno form. Took about 2 hours. Waste of energy.

Yes! :D

I've always wanted to hear this with a techno twist. Very nice! My only complaint would be the lack of dynamics (sforzandos were a tad lax, but that's not my point) and the kick being overly obvious in its distortion. Good work, otherwise.

Nice loop for only two hours. What made Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" so wonderful was that the piece started simple and build up intensity as it was played. Although effectively changing tempos in a FLor MK2 file could be tricky, you could still be able to match Grieg in building intensity via orchestration. Killer beats, techno feel, i give thee an eight. Keep up the good work. It is good to hear a new twist on old classics!

Nakisima responds:

It's one of my favorite orchestral pieces ever. To keep it relatively modern, changing tempo isn't something that's natural to "dance" to (for want of a better word). Time-killer and just general messing around, it wasn't anything serious to me, but thanks for the comments!

Cool man

Pretty cool sequence, haha gotta love it.

The kick needs far less bass and more highs to stand out in the mix. To create a nice relationship between the synths and drums you should consider adding a master hard limiter, and maybe a sidechain on your lead. But yeah, pretty cool.

Cant complain much

Could ya review my new song Prfkt.Tempo?

Nakisima responds:

Cheers man, I used GarageBand so my choice of editing is pretty limited. I'll see what I can do with my other songs, but I'm not going to waste time editing this one to be honest. Sure I'll review yours since you took time to review mine!

Minor Distortion

At points, your bass peaks and distorts. You should fix this with a limiter. I can't tell if it's the bass, or the kick, or both at the same time. Either way, it's one of the two and it's a bit unpleasant to hear. It's pretty short and I guess it could be a bit longer, I dunno, you could try to add some transitions or something, but that's all up to you. Overall, it was nice. I disliked the fadeout in the end.

Nakisima responds:

Completely agreed, it was just something to kill time. The fade-out wasn't something I was going to put in, it just happened. But yeah, GarageBand is crap for editing in my opinion.
