It's good.
But I think your confusing Jazz with the Blues. I think, as a rule the only stringed instument that is allowed in a jazz band is a standing bass. Jazz is all about saxophones and clarinets and stuff like that.

Well I've been drinking whiskey all night and played Modern Warfare 2.
So I thought hey , why not try to make a Jazz song.
Big influence in this is John Petrucci. Not really a jazz player but he uses som awesome arpeggios and such in his "jazz" solos.
The song is in Am and well I just played around a bit.
Jazz is not really my strongest side , but please tell me what you think.
And yes , I know this is not the most Ortodox jazz out there but still :p

Then you are the one who is confused. Django Reinhardt was an awesome Jazz musician and he played the guitar. Jazz is not all about clarinettes and saxophones , then danceband is jazz , and classical is jazz.
I wouldn't call this jazz...
But this is definitely my cup of tea. This somehow reminds me of stuff from Dragonforce...
