FREAKING SPOT ON
Recorded this the other day. I'm a guitar and all around music noob, so forgive the bland playing and all-around uninspired vocals. Any distortions are because I used an incredibly shitty microphone to record this (a headset that I actually WORE and bent over to get close to the guitar's sound hole in order to hear the playing while I sang) and so had to use Audacity's noise removal tool to get rid of the noise.
Anyway, I'm probably going to be doing songs like these as fast as I can learn 'em and upload 'em. As I progress eventually I'll be taking these early versions down because after enough listening I find I'm embarrassed by my attempts. Eventually, you can all hope for something of quality.
Enjoy?
FREAKING SPOT ON
John Denver
This Reminds me about the original author John Denver.... My fav. Song Arstist....WHOO!!!!
Thanks for listening!
Not bad
Should have done some additional editing in audacity though.
lol @ "guitar's sound hole"
I'm not a fan of country, at all. But I enjoyed this version.
Glad you liked it.
SUP!!
ok, ok. Not to bad. you still need some more practice though. You also studered a bit around 1:58-ish.
Quite late, but thanks for the feedback.
You have a good voice.
But not for this kind of country but it could be good for country.
I live in texas and all my my cousins and family listen to is country including my friends so I know what I'm talking about.
I reccommend you sing like Country pop. May not be your kind of style but you would sound your best in that type I think. But hey to each man his own Taste just my opinion.
Other then that Guitar's not that bad but I never was a fan of to repetitive stuff. Good voice need to work on your higher pitches like on the part in the song 1:22-1:25 just pratice on that and a little higher you could get it. 5/10
You're right. I don't really like Country that much... mostly 'cause as a yank from Boston's North Shore I just can't relate to most of it. I like this song for it's folksy feel. I could easy 'suthernize' my singing more for this song... but I wanted to make it more of MY version than anything else, y'know?
And yea, my falsetto's been a work in progress for years and years. Some days I can hit those perfectly, others not so much.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
