I thought It'd been a long time since I last submitted new audio content. So here it is: A remix of the music from the first level of the game Tyrian. The original song is called 'The Level'.
The music was originally composed by Alexander Brandon.

I changed a whole bunch of stuff, to make it sound more harmonic. Hope this version's better.

Been playing Tyrian since I was like 4, and this is a really great interpretation of the first level's music. Like Personplacething said, it really deserves to be in a remake or something. But, I also agree with GasparleGecko, the guitar sounds too MIDIey. Great job though, keep it up :)
Thank you =) Keep in mind, this song is pretty old and was made with Reason 4, which is not the best program for realistic guitars. I now use Sonar 8 and have a couple of realistic guitar VSTi's, so future songs should sound more realistic.

Excellent melody and use of stereo surround
Very airy sounding.
That electric guitar instrument, though. When it changes quickly, it sounds so MIDI, like it's stuttering. If there's anything like a sample offset effect in your software(play sample from point X instead of from beginning) you could make it sound a whole lot smoother.
Hmm... I guess I could change something to make it sound smoother. I'll think about it. Thanks for the review :)

I liked it, and voted five. But there is one thing, when you listen it kinda makes a noise besides the music, I mean it feels like you listen two things at the same time. But it's still perfect!
Hmm... that could be the harmony (multiple instruments playing different melodies).
I think I get what you mean though, though I'm not sure how I should fix it xD
