Not sure what to make of this...

It provides an interesting scenario, for sure... Since everyone else is giving bits of imagery I suppose I should as well... The piece reminds me of looking afar on some trouble I have to face in the near future, and contemplating how to solve it.

This is just so amazing!

This is just an awsome song, I really don't know what else to say! People tend to exagerate the word "EPIC" , but this really is epic! I mean, it really prevokes thought, it get's you thinking of a story of some sort, what-ever it may be. It could really be anything you want it to be. Thanks for reading this!

Borderline industrial

I like the way that I can hear things like ratchet's returning to their original position in the ending - it really makes them seem like the piece is just winding down and getting ready to start again, which is what happens when it loops.

I can compare the drum beats to the beat of industrial hammers, just landing in time to get this piece working to a steady rhythm.

I think that in the end, this track was just a little on the short side, but overall, you have really put some quality effort into it, with a long buildup, that did reflect poorly on such a short track. When it's all done and dusted, adding about an additional minute of music couldn't hurt you, so give it a go and see what you've got when you've done that.

Nice atmosphere

I really like the atmosphere this song creates. It makes me feel uncomfortable, but at the same time I think: "Ah, it could be worse. I can work this out if I just try hard enough!"
So I think this song could be used in a scene where the main character goes through a difficult period in his/her life. At first s/he thinks about just giving in, but then decides to buck up and tries to fight the problems.

I like the intro :D But I think instead of adding drums strait away you could have played around with that "breath pad", like gated it or added an effect which lead into the drums. Meh, just giving you ideas, like instead of just playing around with drums the whole time, you could play around with the background too.

I liked the slowness of the song, but it could have had an epic climax, or just a tempo increase, but I suppose it is ambient with drums so....

Good to see its not just bass drum hats and snare, you also threw in some wierd percussion sounds.

After a while that pad sort of becomes kinda mundane. Maybe you could have faded it out for a while and then come in with some mega fast piano line.
