EDIT: Hmm... I guess I should be getting my ears checked... =__=

80 whips on the balls of anyone that votes 0 without a smart explanation as to why it made your ears bleed.

Thanks for passing by, and to all you downvoters... do me a favor and go get yourselves ravaged by a rhino.

P.S. Oh yeah, this is a slightly more polished version of "80's here I come (WiP)". Perhaps I'll extend it one day.

So this was actually notbad I like the vibe of this and did have a nice 80s feel to it would really be nice if this was actually longer though it does have a sense of flavor about it so nice job here anyways keep up the sound

Could be longer

I love this.
80's ftw.
This track has such an epic sound to it.
I'd love to work on it haha.
Great job my friend.

SFaPiL2 responds:

I extended it some more a while back and couldn't help but smile to it ^__^. Once I'm done with it I'd love to pass you the flp.

Back to the 80s!

Yeah, back to the 80s, that's where this song takes me. The synths in the background just sound so cheesy like they do in most songs from the 80s. ^^

But anyway, it sounds pretty good. Especially the little guitar riff has a nice melody.
The mastering still needs some more work, I think. The guitar riff just stands out too much. It almost seems as if the riff isn't a part of the song, because of the different sound quality. Hard to explain, but the guitar riff sounds as if it was recorded in a small room with a mic while the synths and the drums sound as if they where recorded in a studio (I hope you get what I'm trying to say here ^^).

SFaPiL2 responds:

I was trying to make the e-guitar stand out less already (without pushing it in the background)!

My "mastering techniques" are trial-and-error-based, so they'll never be perfect. Applying the right reeverb to the e-guitars might solve the problem, but it might cause the echoes to "overlap", making it even more loud (damn it)... hmm... I'll try to solve this problem.

Anyway, thanks Haggard ^__^

Nice loop

A well constructed piece, this loop certainly does have good staying power, despite the fact that it is less than a minute in length. I think that you've got some good phases in there and a reasonably wide range of instruments used, which makes for a good variation that it takes a while to get bored of.

To improve, I'd suggest that you try increasing the length and from there perhaps consider something like a longer guitar piece, even with a solo there that doesn't rely upon the beat and the synths to carry it along. The way that everything builds up there, it does seem a shame to end it so prematurely, after all.

SFaPiL2 responds:

He he... it wasn't supposed to be loop at all. I just didn't feel like fooling others that this was an entire song ^__^.

About what you wrote. Ouch. I managed to increase the song to around 2:30-3:00 minutes in length, but I never managed to make a guitar solo as you suggested =__=: I used it more as an accompaniment during the entire song.

For now it's missing a final transition towards a conclusion and it should be set... hopefully I didn't make any big mistakes.

Anyway, thanks for helping me out Coop83. Much appreciated.

Funky beat

This actually doesn't sound bad, sounds and reminds me of those old Sonic games during the 16-bit era, good times.

Guitar: Nice little riff.

Drums: Nice simple beat to it.

Keyboard: Thinking 16-bit sounds here.

Bass: There is none there right?

Overall: Very nice piece of work.

SFaPiL2 responds:

Actually there is some bass from 0:20 till the end but maybe it's a bit too low-pitched for speakers... Hmm... Maybe I should check that out (I made the song with my headphones, fyi).

Anyway, thanks for the help (and compliments ^__^). I'd love to repay you RRC-guys one day or another.
