So this is "The Power of Inertia", and the story behind the title is I was in the middle of Physics class, and I began to hum the violin part (the triplet rhythm that "drives" the piece) and my teacher just happened to be mentioning something about inertia. So, I decided I would involve inertia in the title. And besides, it kind of has this feeling of perpetual motion, the gradual build in volume, the rhythmic violins. I hope you enjoy it. Oh yeah, and it's another track for V.V. (Vengeance Void). Let me know what you think. My only problem with it is that in some places the violins sound too synthesized, while in other places (where they change notes more often) they sound stunning! Any ideas on how I can make the "synth" quality go away?

Its good, I'll grant you that...

The only things i dont like were the umm higher pitched notes that go dadada dadada dadada it sounded like it should've been one long note instead of three for some parts. Other parts it was great though. so anyway the moral of the story is good job

Not only did you manage to write a song that has a good beat to it, but you managed to write one that has that very beat driving it on. The variety of instruments you used really helped bring the sort of 'Marching on' feel into the piece added onto the main theme, which, on its own, is very beautiful. The percussion is clean and precise... masterfully done. :)

Keep composing, my friend... and try to make it longer and make up an ending and this piece will be worthy of more than most of mine are.

varrin7 responds:

Trust me, your in for a big surprise. I've extended this piece, and added a special element that I hope will make it outstanding.

This is nice.

Well, one way is to use Soundfonts instead of synths. Google Soundfonts and you'll be amazed at what you can find.
By the way, are you using FL Studio? Just curious.
Also, you may want to get a replacement for that trumpet. It doesn't sound completely real.
Otherwise, amazing job, dude!
Keep it up!

varrin7 responds:

Would you happen to have a trumpet that you could recommend? That actually surprises me, as I'm using EWQL's library (not the new PLAY edition, but the older NI). And Yes I am using FL. Why do you ask?

I sent you a PM in case you don't read this.
