The idea of the song was to create a 20 minute song split into different sections as a side project to my band. The results so far have been pleasing, and roughly 16 minutes have been written and recorded, so very little remains to be done. This submission only around two and a half minutes, to give the people of Newgrounds a rough idea of my work!

0.00 - 0.38

This is the second section of the song, which features prodominant synth riffs, and also the acoustic guitar which has only featured in this section (Twice thus far has it been used). Unfortunately, most of this track hasnt been drum layered properly, and due to dodgy studio work (ie my clumsyness) a lot of the guitar tracks deleted unexpectedly! (Oopsie...)

0.38 - 1.41

This is the final part of the second section, and it starts with a strangely good sounding acoustic guitar (strange because it was a cheap Westfield which had the WORST action on any guitar in the world). After many takes, we finally managed to keep it in tune, and so we added strings to create a calming mood. The drums are double tracked in this section, as the imported drums that I orignally programmed sounded a lot different from the drag and dropped from exdrummer, although I quite liked the way they blend, so it was decided that they would stay.

1.41 - 2.35

Start of the third section of my composition. Again, the majority of this part has synth dominance, as the starting seconds you should be able to hear the rhythmic ostinato played by the synth. Probably the funnest part of the song to play, because the synth and strings give it an almost trance/rave style sound, so I am tempted to put in a small section of techno drums! Also, this is where I move to my tasty seven string, so that is always a pleasure!

2.35 - 2.45

I decided to add this final part because it is purely MIDI playing. A lot of my ideas in this piece are following the lines of music fusion, and although it may seem like I am only fusing dance with metal in the extracts heard, I have elements of blues, funk, orchestra and many more ideas to be featured.

So I you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoy recording it! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I am a weathered musician, so you can throw as much hate as you want, because that is the stuff that will push me to make things better!

Thanks for tuning in!
