I wanted to try the beta of Shred amp simulator by Acme Bar Gig, one of the newest plugins in their arsenal of free stuff.
As usual, the sound and GUI design is totally awesome.
Bass made with Yellow Tools Independence Free.
Drums made with UVI Workstation using their Demo Soundpack.
Guitar an Epiphone SG Special (awesome sound, awful look and feel and NEVER staying in tune).

5 instances of the same VST in Mu.Lab, no crashes. Sometimes CPU overload but in normal limits.

Perfect 10

You really show talent in this song. Everything fits very well together. The solo at 00:38 is well composed (or improvised) and it's way above the normal routine for a solo.

Love the 7/8 + 9/8 rhythm (if thats what you were going for)

I never vote 10 but this one is worth it, be proud!

This is just a fast "something" to try the new distortion. Nothing is deep conceptualized. Solo it's improvised as most of the track.
7/8 + 9/8... well, I didn't realized that before you pointed it out, for me is just a 70s style groove in 4/4, but really sounds like 7/8 + 9/8...

Thanx for review.
This plugin is not a virtual guitar, it's an amp simulator. The guitar you hear it's a real guitar recorded through that amp (guitar, preamp, computer and then distortion and amp virtual).

Anyway, you can use it also on keyboards and will sound pretty much like guitars :)
