I think I did pretty good on this one. Make sure to wait for the buildup!

P.S. Quality had to be reduced to 8MB in order to fit...original is about 9.5MB...

I'll be honest here...

I love that you write outside the box, and I have to agree, the first few minutes are definitely entertaining. I love your background effects most of all, some very interesting sounds. In fact, my only real qualms with this song are that the bassline is a bit... disharmonized with the rest of the song? It's very well constructed, just something about that bassline. Maybe too much reverb? I can't quite pin it. I just kept thinking "I wish this bass was... more complex and simpler at the same time", if that makes any sense... Other than that, great song, excellent construction, just a few disharmonies are what left a slight taste in my mouth at the end.

4/5 from me, if I'm being truly honest, which I think is more useful than dishonest flattery : /

Well I'll tell you, I shamelessly state Estrella as one of my worst songs ever. In my humble opinion, anyway. As far as Trance goes, Crossing Over is fifty times better. Once again, in my humble opinion.:)

The song doesn't flow very well. It just sounds like a bunch of random synth themes put to the same bass line. There were some nice moments like the beginning; the first minute and a half or so mainly. Seeing as the style said trance, I was expecting to hear a kick at some point, but it never happened, so I guess it was your intention for it not to be there. Also, the melody around 2:40 felt out of place. The violin was nice touch, but it was playing the same melody line as the one before it. What I'd suggest is when writing melody lines, make sure they fit within the key of the bass line to avoid clashing and out of place parts. Also, a little more variety in the bassline would be a welcome addition. I hope this could help a little with your future musical endeavors, so keep working on it and you'll only get better.

pretty good!

The melody and effects quite good. This is not really that necessary, but try a different kick drum and see if it works out...only a suggestion.
And this sounds more like techno to me. less trancy more techy. Also, make the hihat drum abit louder. I had trouble hearing it lol. On the bright side, I like how you used different instruments throughout and made the song not repetitive.
good job!
