Track 22 of "The Hero of Time" Official Soundtrack
Music composed by George R. Powell

You may remember the first 38 seconds from "Demons of the Elements". That is because this piece is the remake of that one, where I was asked to change all of the battle music for its intended scene (even though Joel (director) used the rejected track anyway, and that is the one you know as "Demons of the Elements").

A wee bit of trivia: I am the one doing the choir vocal singing in this piece, and I didn't know what to sing. So Joel writes me an e-mail saying "Hey George, ya know what would be funny? If you started singing 'Death death death be to Hyrule, Let darkness and death reign all over the land'", and I was like ".....m'kay!". And that's what I ended up singing. You can't hear the vocals enough to understand them (which was intentional), but now that you know what you're hearing, you should be able to spot it now.

This piece also sports the familiar LoZ main theme as well as my original theme for Sheik.

Love it! do you write songs for official video games???

Setu-Firestorm responds:

No, I do not. However, I am starting work with an international director to score a musical early next year.

I'm glad you like the piece. =)
