The biggest problem with remixing songs, especially those done by someone as skilled as Nobuo Uematsu, is sometimes you just don't measure up to him. I thought this would be a fine song on its own, but it's a remix, and well, remixes generally get compared to the original....because of this, I have to say that the original is just so much more empowering. This version just doesn't give off the feeling of a hero going off to save the town from evil, it reminds me more of somewhat of a marching band tune. This is mostly just because of the standard that you have to reach when remixing Final Fantasy music. I'm sure you put a lot of effort into it, I just personally found the other one much more superior and appropriate. Never the less, good job.

Great remix of FF9's "Rose of May"
AKA "O Alexandria". I am creating a remix of it, myself, but have no intention of submitting it. At least not yet. But imagine how cool this song would be if done by violins and a bunch of tubas and trumpets. Good work.
