'did the bunnys welcome me into their land?'

Inside receeding steps reveal an ancient cave marked with carved walls... around the decorative balancing creeps a tentacle.. and slowly receeds together with you as you proceed..

At the bottom it starts to speak.

"turn back, do you not see your actions have an effect? please listen and return before all goes bad'

But you mind it not and continue into the bunny's lair.

The lair is covered in blood.. thats odd.. and in the wall is set in stone a turtle shaped pedestal, down the lair you can already see the bunny's.. have they been attacked?

But these were no bunnys, they were meat cutting spiked like the blades of scissors and their eyes glowing an eerie sight, you were ambushed by these monsters the blood was of their victims..

No, you are going to fight.

You are bigger, they are smaller so you grab them by the throat and snuff out their light.

In the back their eggs you find covering a large turtle shaped stone..
You smash the eggs and take it with you serves these monsters right to be ransacked.
Now that you think of it was there not some pedestal you had found? But when you try it wont fit perhaps you should turn the stone upside down.

The pedestal clicks and from the corridor previously walked you hear a loud bang and pieces of the tentacle are flying around.

You panic and rush back up the stairs, you need to get out of here.. what if this stone triggered a curse of some kind..

A requeim?

Well, the choir singing over the top of this track certainly brings home the pressing need for some sort of closure on a piece, but it's a case that there will be people looking around to try and find answers. As such, it conjures up imagery of Dan Brown's books, which is a slight at your own work. I'm sorry.

I think that the wispy sounding piece behind the choir was a masterstroke and that with the way that the pieces are starting to fall together, this could be the start of something bigger. Have you ever heard "Little Suzie" by Michael Jackson. have a listen to that and see what I mean by the start.

Calamaistr responds:

I have heard little suzie yes, im not entirely sure what you mean by your first paragraph when youre referring to dan browns books; 'wich is a slight (?) at my own work (?)

I suggest you listen to the rest of the strangled score aswell. :)

Thanks for the review.

Hello,

I'm not too sure how to describe how this makes me feel,
I like the overall tone of the piece, it sounds like something that would be heard at a cathedral.

Interesting, if a bit unsettling, as it carries an almost otherworldly feel.
I'm can't say I liked it a whole lot, but it is unique.

Thanks,
- Celx

Brilliant soothing flow

This seemed to give off a feeling off just you are having finished a mission and needing to relax somewhere in the distance at piece. The chorus makes it sound quite soothing and you generally hear other sounds added in along with the flute as well, very soft and this seems to be quite a lovely piece, really soothing, kind of a Final Fantasy feel to it.

Nice work.

SCTE3

Calamaistr responds:

Like haggard says its a creepy atmosphere, the bunny pen afterall stands for something darker. This will be understood as the story progresses. (2 to go)
Oh but please stop saying final fantasy, even though its a compliment alot of people say my music is like final fantasy but none but one (ancient) of my works on ng are inspired by FF or try to replicate its sound.

thanks for the review.

Ends too abruptly

This song creates a very creepy atmosphere. The effects are well chosen here, it almost feels as if I'm ventureing into a deep cave and I experience very strange things there.

I wished the song was a bit longer, though. The outro seems to be a bit rushed, just suddendly ending on that one note. I think with a bit more work you could come up with a better, more satisfying ending.

Calamaistr responds:

hm, well theyre all supposed to be more of a 'atmospheric' track, its in that light atleast i make this album. :)
Besides theyr all meant as a loop so it doesnt actually 'end'

thanks for the compliment and thanks for the review. :)

Better Flow

this one had a better flow, and seemed to accomplish what you set out to do better than the "Deep in the woods." I still think you can add more instruments and give this more depth. Its good, but it feels empty.

Calamaistr responds:

The deeper woods is pretty much to set a tone, this album isnt really made as individual 'tracks. Its all atmospheric and every track contains atleast something of the other wether it be the instruments, a melody or the tone. :) Hope this helps.

Thanks for the review mate.
