Embued in Darkness

Hi there, I'm back with another atmospheric piece, but this time it's a dark one.
I added some Dark Ambient elements here, while still maintaining a sound that is similar to my other creations.
Anyway, enough with the personal comment, feel free (as always) to comment and rate. ^^

Enjoy the music,

This is an excellent piece of work.

I particularly like the blend of drums along with the ambient bass riff. The drums are extremely crisp, and the simplistic beats mixed with the occasional stuttered variation works a treat.

Fantastic work, I'm glad this song is standing alongside my own on the album collab!

Thank you, it's a honor to have you on my side. =)
I hope you enjoy the rest of the tracks

This one's good, nice and dark. I'm like'n the beat in the middle too; however before and after it stops I think something should be added. Not quite sure what though. Maybe a piano, and some more ambient sounds? Just a thought.

About what I posted earlier for spooky music, this is in the general area of what i'm look'n for. A little smoother, with a little more rhythm to it, and i'd slap on a 10.

KKSlider60 responds:

This is one of the first songs I made right after the "Cosmopolis" brothers. I wasn't that "expert" in the subject and I tried to figure out what was I doing, and that's the result.
If I'd added more rhythm, it would have ruined the ambiance, IMO. The piece is made to be quiet, you know, like you don't know what's gonna happen next.
Oh well, thanks for responding, anways xD

Very eerie

This actually reminded me of Paranormal Activity, until about 30 seconds in. The demon at one point growls in response to the boyfriend. Anywho.

This song is very dark, but also has a very sexy beat. I could see our villain here as a woman in a low cut, skin tight dress. =)

You've mixed everything in such a way that it's not repetitive, but not completely random either. It keeps the mind following the story and wondering what is going to happen next.

Nothing stands out too much, very well blended. Not harsh, but not soft either. Takes skill to get it just right and you, my friend, have done just that.

KKSlider60 responds:

Thank for your kind review!
God bless Ambient music ^^

Nice dude.

I get this mental image of some one walking down a really bad part of a neighborhood. Futuristic neighborhood with cars that can hover. And I don't mean like the projects. I mean like slums, walking through dark shadows. Eyes following you as you walk by every broken glass and neon lit up club and whore house sign on every block. Oh yeah, this song is movie worthy.

KKSlider60 responds:

Hell yeah! That's what Dark Ambient is for, to create dooming atmospheres.
Peace bro,

I like it

I see it being used in a game or for some sort of atmosphere of a cave, or something dark. Which seems what you were going for. Very accurate!

KKSlider60 responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
