A piano piece with some other stuff added to it. I can't change it anymore because I lost the project file, so here it is, in its semi-perfect glory. You might find the bass annoying near the end, a bit grinding even, but maybe you can lower the bass end of the EQ when playing this, that could help. Or maybe disregard the end entirely. Thanks fellas.

Cool

So this was a nice tune you have created the guitar was flowing very nice and not sure I would really change much on this it has a solid vibe with a nice flavor about it so keep doing what you do best

~~SUGGESTED IDEAS~~
Some brilliant sound here especially the guitar

Light-hearted

I like this track, it's a nice, uplifting tune, that really does make you tap your feet and smile.

I think that sometimes, the bass is a little overpowering, but that's nothing that can't be dealt with over a few small tweaks. Just take some of the power out of it, so that the natural bass of the piano can be heard and you'll be fine.

With the way that the piano carries this tune, you would think that there was no need for any other instruments, but this is where it gets a nice lift from the occasional strings that come along and just seem to cameo. It's a nice blend, especially when they hum, as opposed to pluck.

Sawdust responds:

Yeah, the bass blows, I admit.

Also I was intending for this to be like an epic orchestral piece, but I guess I'm incapable of doing that then :( Thanks though

Good song with nice fade out

This is a great song. I like the slow and careful build up you have here, this makes this song very interesting for the listener.
Also, the melodies are very nice, they get stuck in your head very quickly and they create a very warm but somehow also an almost melancholic atmosphere.

I'm not so sure about the brass(?) we can hear at around the middle of the song, but the drums sound very nice.

However, I also like the very slow fade out. I think it works really well in this song. Normally I don't like fade outs as they are overdone, but here it works very well.

Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it.

Truly a soft piece of work

Song sounds really calming. However for a long time in the intro all I hear is a piano which is cool and then the guitar somewhat comes in softly as well and the song begins to play itself.

Piano: Sounds marvelous, really enjoy how the sound of it just tends to stick in your head after the piece is finished as well. Really nice touch of softness there.

Guitar: It pretty much sounds like a simple small loop there for almost the whole song which is okay since you seemed to be aiming at making a really nice soft piece here which I liked.

Chorus: You hear it there for a bit and it sounds awesome.

Piano 2?: Don't really know if it was a second piano but it sounded awesome coming in right before the second half of the song started. Really nice there.

Drums: I enjoy how this tended to be a really soft loop, sounds nice and calming as it was with the rest of the song.

Bass guitar: It seemed to come right in towards the very end of the song. very nice little catchy riff.

Overall: This ia beautiful piece of work. Just makes you think of sitting on a hill and watching the stars hoping that maybe life will get better somehow. Very nice piece.

Sawdust responds:

No guitar in this, only 1 piano and you missed the strings + trumpets, but thanks man, I rarely get 10s.

Felt true to the title...

Hello,

I like piano pieces, and this was pretty decent.
I like the overlapping of tunes, I think it's a cool idea.
Although other people will probably dislike it, I think you pulled it off well.

Unfortunately the ending was like a kick to the nuts, it was too loud and didn't flow well with the original melody, and made everything seem garbled.

Still I thought this piece was pretty underrated so I gave you a five, to even out your score...

Thanks,
- Celx

Sawdust responds:

Thanks a lot, yeah the ending blows, which is why I advised you to disregard it, yeah.
