great work man. you really captured the emotion and feeling of what you described. I, too can pictured someone reading "letters in the rain". Great work and it had a nice progression to it.

This is a song I started by simply finding a nice ambient string sound, and using it to make a base for the rest of the song. I was going for kind of an ambient, film score...but got something classical/ambient instead. I guess it could still be used for film, who knows...
When i was making this, I visualized someone standing under the rain, reading some letter from a loved one or someone mysterious, thus the name.

Im quite a fan of Nobuo Uematsu, the composer who writes for the final fantasy games. Ive analyzed his music inside and out. I can GUARANTEE you, the songs for FF7 are no where close to the notes and arrangement of this song. I do know where you are coming from though.
