This is the song that plays in Magus' and Ozzie's castle from the game Chrono Trigger for the SNES. The eerie, and ominous tones scared the shit out of me when I played this as a child. I hope this creeps you out as well. I was supposed to submit this on Halloween, BUT some stuff happened that forced me to put it on hold, redo the whole song because it didn't sound like the real thing at all. But now it does, and it's better than ever. This is the third Chrono Trigger song I've done, so I hope you like it.

Sounds pretty good

I like it, it's just it kinda sounds a bit too much like the original for my tastes. I understand the song has not much to build up with it, but it's pretty good overall. This takes me back to when first facing Magus... GAH that was a pain... Anyway, long live Chrono Trigger and keep it up with these good sounding tunes.

RetributionVox responds:

Thanks for the.. wait.. EIGHT?! C'MON!! Nah i'm kidding. Anything above a 5 is good :)

You did well.

A little tweaking and it could be made into a loop. You made it almost perfectly.

the song

that song is played when you enter one of the main demons castles in the middle ages, every once in a while there is supposed to be a laugh.

RetributionVox responds:

You mean Magus and Ozzie.

Yay, creepy!, i may consider it for a flash...some day.
My only complain is about the main 'note' (the one that's played the whole time), something about the frecuency kind of hurt the ears.

RetributionVox responds:

Well, listen to the original song, like youtube it. Tell me that's not ear shattering.

Sounds very much like the original, and I like the instruments you chose! Well done!

RetributionVox responds:

Thanks bro.
