At this point, I think This song outdoes Missing The Clouds, which might even outdo Melodica (Which was recently remastered).
This song was theoretically another assignment - I was trying to create something else, but that died. And i wasn't going to waste this, so i topped it off and you are hearing the result.
I think one of the hardest parts of a song is naming it. Maybe it has to do with my desire for perfectionism and no name is ever perfect for a song. But as I was running this song through Audacity (Nice little program i use to work with ID3s and export as MP3s) i came up with a name.
And somehow, a story came with it. Albiet an abstract one.
I suppose if you were two imagine in World War One, Two Spies. But where they are from, who they are, and their relation other than being the best of friends and partners does not at all matter. So on a dark night, it is their task to investigate an old countryside house that the Germans are believed to be using as an Outpost.
Well the song takes a major turn, and so does the story. By the end, these two spies are bursting through the estate's Iron Gate, secret documents in hand, in a german Scout Car, trying not to be destroyed by a (rather unexpected) German Tank hidden in the main Garage.
Well yes, they made it out, but feel free to fill in the details. I think the song is much better with the accompanying story.
<<<<< EDIT >>>>>
I just realised someone might take the story in the wrong way. I want to mention, just in case, i have nothing against Germans. Its the internet, you never know what people might be thinking XD
In other news, there was this string loop that I loved, but couldn't think of anything to do with. Turns out that a Southern Organ and some "Live Edgy Drums" were all i needed. The song also grew interesting with the effect placed on the strings.
And thats all I have to say about that.
