Needs better sound quality

Well, it's very hard to review this because of the sound quality. Just everything was hard to make out. The beat and the vocals.

But let's start from the beginning. You should edit out the first few seconds as there can be nothing heard except for some nasty static sounds. It's okay if there are a few seconds of silence before the song starts, but those cracking noises are just annoying.

Then, everything needs to be louder or even better recorded at a better quality. Everything sounds as if you had put the mic underneath a cussion or something.

The rapping itself could also use some improvements. You should try to time the verses better with the background beat and you should try to time the lines better with your breathing. Sometimes you had some pauses to catch some breath, but they didn't really fit there where you had them.
Also on one occasion it sounded as if you forgot the text and just mumbled something to cover that up.

I'm sorry that I can't be more positive about that track, but as I've said in the beginning, it's hard to review it because of the low sound quality.

Well, it's a no from me.

Sorry, but you might have talent. If you do, I couldn't tell, as you need to start by improving the quality of the vocals to match the beat that you've used, which is awesome.

I think that there are two things that you need to concentrate on first, in order to get ahead here:

1) Microphone. You might need to get a better one, because this sounds awful in quality. Decent microphones don't cost too much these days, so go out and get one that you can wire up to the computer, before trying again.

2) Recording program. Download something like Audacity and get used to the equalisation properties of that program, because you can take away some of the background interference. Edit out the first few seconds and the last couple of seconds, because the sound of you dicking around with the mic is awful.

3) Take the mic further from your mouth. Short of getting a pop-filter for the mic, you might just want to go and get yourself sorted with a decent position for recording from. The mic is a sensitive piece of equipment and it doesn't need to be in your in your mouth. Possibly turn down the mic sensitivity.

4) Writing - it's not the best rap that I've heard - try setting the beat closer to the beat of the backing track, as it would help you a lot - you don't pause enough between verses and choruses, so the track doesn't come through.

Before I start reviewing let me say a few things on this piece, get a recording studio or a better microphone because the sound is extremely choppy and hard to hear.

Lyrics: Very touchy at one part but it sounds pretty good and and at a point or two it sounds like you got a tad bit off key because the mic or whatever you're using makes popping sounds.

Beat: Extremely heard to hear, I can just barely hear some cymbals in the background and drum beat.

Overall: This needs heavy improvement, I'd recommend resubmitting AFTER you get a new microphone or recording system so it isn't so choppy.
